Default My plea to Michael Bay

Now that Paramount have returned back the Blu it’s only a matter of time before Michael Bays Transformers comes to us

So here is my plea to Michael Bay to make sure Paramount give it the transfer it deserves.
Please don’t give us the 2 disc HD-DVD version on one Blu-ray and also don’t give us the 2 disc HD-DVD version on 2 Blu-rays Please re-encode the film to give us a nice high bitrate and to also have a nice 7.1 24bit PCM sound track to use the full 50GB of the 1st disc, to make this the best reference disc on the Blu-ray format, so it will be played in every shop, show and games event to show everyone that Blu-ray HD is the way to go i.e. get rid of your DVD player

Also on the 2nd disc can you make it so the every thing is in HD and uses the full 50gb so that means high Bitrates

Thanks Michael, hope you read this

And here is my pole to see what the rest of you think

The poll isn't up yet, but I think Bay already announced he had a Blu-Ray master for it.

Wow... Dude NO thanks... On a serious note, I am not sure how much control M. Bay has over the encoding and other technichal, value added features that will be in the final Blu-ray version of Transformers. The Insiders have posted that the Blu-ray encodes for this film have been finalized.

And Bay claims to have "supervised" the creation of this, so I'm sure he has some input there.

M. Bay was very vocal about the transfer quality of HD DUD being crappy, I'm 100% positive he wants his movie (his baby) to come at the best quality possible
I just don't know if they will listen to him come time when its down to encoding, does he get the right vote or not?
I would hate the hd dvd to direct copy onto blu ray, its going to be shitty.

Your pole is magnificent. I hope Michael Bay sees it as well. Three thumbs up!!!

We all want Bumblebee and Optimus Prime to Transform into the world of Blu with the best PQ and AQ available.

Thumbs down

I will take option c please. Max it out for blu. I have seen the hd-dvd version and its pretty good, however I know it could be better with a nice AVC encode. Either way, this can't come quick enough imo.

Considering the war is over should all of us with the DVD version of Transformers start burning them?

Transformers was one of the worst movie I've ever seen, even the great Stephen King walked out in the middle...Painfully stupid movie...maybe they should release it straight to VHS...
