I'm checking the home page of this site every few minutes in the hopes of seeing that official announcement that's supposedly coming from Paramount today regarding their future BD releases. Anyone else doing the same?

Dude, nothing was "supposed" to be coming today! It's all SPECULATION! No one knows for sure, just rumors.

I still have no idea why people chose today to be the day they would announce anything. Why is today important? What cause the rumor that they would announce something today?

Well I mean...it was only a rumor...nothing was ever fact. Nobody from paramount every said that there would be an announcement. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't hear anything.

Blu ray has all of the major studio's now that Tosh have pulled the plug - yet the only studio's producing ANYTHING are Warner and Sony, who we had all along!!

Hey, rumors have been our Bread and Butter on this site for months now. Most of them have come true, better and more quickly than we'd ever have imagined.

I plan to keep on reading rumors until Blu's from every studio become so numerous and so frequent that we all become sated and flopping around on the floor with giddy excitement.

West coast time is 3 hours behind Eastern, 2 behind central, 1 behind Mountain time.
It's only 12:04 in California as I type this. Way too early to be getting concerned that nothing will happen.
And so we wait, not like this is unfamiliar territory.

Was there suppose to be an announcement? I thought it was just speculation, oh well no need to hold my breath, until there is no actual announcement I won't take this into consideration.
