Question parent convincing

I want to interview my parents but they continue to tell me no. Does anyone know a way to convince my parents to let me interview them?

Is this ON or OFF camera?

Does a school grade depend on this?

What's the topic?

There are lots of different tacks you can take depending on the situation. Give me some info, and I'll see if I can help. I used to do interviews for some documentaries, and local papers.

You know the old saying... "Everyone has their price." We just need to find your parent's "price" to open up.

Interview them?

For what? Sex life, Most dirty thing they did as teenagers, Drugs, etc...?

So far I understood you want to interview your parent, yet I don't know for what? It probably none of my Business if its personal my friend. If it is interviewing for something personal I could understand where your parent are coming from. I don't even know my parents BDay, because that is too them very personal for them.

you need to specific.

Give it a bit before we declare the OP dead okay?

I think it's a kid, and he probably hasn't responded because he has a bedtime, and it's a school night. By 3:30 or 4:00pm we should get a response. If not... go ahead and delete.

just my opinion.

When I saw the title of the thread I thought it was going to be about convincing the 'rents to go high definition and get into Blu-ray. Apparently not.

I guess the big question (next to how long until this thread is locked or deleted) is why do you want to interview them? Since without knowing that it's really hard to suggest a tactic for convincing them to do an interview.

Buy several thousands of dollars in equipment, learn the requisite software, and.... Presto! CGI parents! Your teacher will never know the difference! Even more life-like on BD!
