It's a new week, albeit a lighter one, but still some key titles are hitting - notably DAY AND DATE with DVD, an area that took some time to achieve when DVD arrived.

Already had Talladega Nights since it came with the PS3. However, I am considering a repurchase as the cover art with the "free" version isn't as good. I'll probably wait until it goes on sale though.

Kung Fu Hustle, Talladega Nights and World Trade Center for me. I have the PS3 version of TN, but I left it in the box, still wrapped up.

Will the movie itself of TN be packaged differently (audio, less video compression)?

the new version of "Talledega" is BD50, uncompressed PCM (besides Dolby Digital only), extended cut (something like 14 min of footage) and tons of extras, all in HD.

Good point. I forgot it was the unrated/extended version. I guess I will have to order it now after all.

Talladega Nights is a must own. That movie was great. Kung Fu Hustle is good too.

While it's debatable how good of a movie Ricky Bobby is (I thought it was OK), it's a terrible BD.

remember, we have only seen the rated bd-25 so far. the bd-50 could look a lot better

DeepDiscountDVD still has it for around $15, so I am thinking about it. Just don't want to purchase a disc I'm not going to watch repeatitly.

If you guys hurry and get the pre-order, J&R Music and computer has Prada for US$18. You can buy up to TWO BDs. Support Fox while getting it cheaper!

It's a very funny movie and probably a good disc to show off the details in the costumes.

I just got Talladega Nights, Kung Fu Hustle, and World Trade Center. Ive never seen WTC. Is it good? It will be at least a few days before I can watch it. It seems like it will be really sad if so you can purchase it from me on Ebay later this week. I got all these titles at Walmart and will be going to best buy this weeek to pick up another cause I got me a 5 dollar reward zone card. Yipee

Since there have been no new releases that have appealed to me recently, and the From Hell BD I was looking forward to was delayed until sometime next year, as is The Da Vinci Code, and my copy of One Last Thing has been on backorder for weeks,

I decided I would order Swordfish, The Fugitive, and Syriana this week.
