Unless a big shipment is coming by boat, and doesn't ship for a week or two.

people will still buy the units. no one, outside of us techno geeks and gamers will notice, and it will keep on rolling. i don't think it does anything bad per say, but it at least gives us hope that they are going to meet the numbers they project.

Eeeesh. I would have stuck with a 1 million number personally. But maybe Sony has a huge shipment up their sleeves.

of course, what isn't mentioned is that if this is US numbers or worldwide. i'm inclined to think worldwide.
