Unless a big shipment is coming by boat, and doesn't ship for a week or two.

It seems he is definitely putting his credibility on the line. With all the missed targets, what happens if this one disappears too?

people will still buy the units. no one, outside of us techno geeks and gamers will notice, and it will keep on rolling. i don't think it does anything bad per say, but it at least gives us hope that they are going to meet the numbers they project.

Eeeesh. I would have stuck with a 1 million number personally. But maybe Sony has a huge shipment up their sleeves.

of course, what isn't mentioned is that if this is US numbers or worldwide. i'm inclined to think worldwide.

on ps3seeker.com most of the stores in California are getting shipments on Dec. 17
