I just watched this on HDNet. It was the first time I've ever seen it and I loved it!!! The transfer wasn't that great on HDNet though, it was incredibly soft and artifacting all over the place...not to mention the limited bitrate, and it got me thinking...This would look awesome in Blu! Especially that last battle at night, holy smokes!

I'm so jealous!! Definitely one of my most anticipated Blu titles!!

Honestly, it's always been a diffused looking transfer so that doesn't suprise me. Now i'm salivating listening to those battle scenes in lossless audio!!

Glory was on cable the other night. I can't wait for this film on Blu. It's one of my favorite all-time war movies and it never ceases to stir emotions regardless of how many times I've seen it.

I watched that movie in American Military Experience is high school, but I can't remember it. Is that the one where they do something with shoes? Like someone didn't have shoes or something. Maybe the black people didn't have shoes? I know that I liked the movie though, just can't remember a lot of it.

yeah, the black soldiers all had crappy shoes and were wearing on their feet.
