Default New set-up suggestions...

I am upgrading my home theater. I am debating on getting the JBL 5.1 Audio System http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1172882131588 with an Onkyo 605 http://onkyousa.com/model.cfm?m=TX-S...s=Receiver&p=i or a Onkyo HTIB http://onkyousa.com/model.cfm?m=HT-S...ss=Systems&p=i Let me know what you all think. Thanks. I plan on making the purchase this weekend 03.16.2008

I would say get the Onkyo HTIB...I think that would be a better set up and possibly better sounding...

I would highly recommend getting the Onkyo 705 at a minimum.

Why??? You see the speakers he's looking at..... and there's no way he's gonna upgrade the speakers before that Receiver is obsolete, or available for dirt cheap......

So if someone says "I got a Sony HTIB and my receiver died, what should I get" you'd say Onkyo 705 at a minimum??? It's just not necessary in my opinion. I'm happy with my Marantz, but I'd never recommend it to someone looking at the speakers he is...... he'd just waste money.
