Actually, he said that until he can digitally change the 'black bars' to new content, he was going to hold-off on the BD releases.

Mr Lucas is biding his time, he can see a new franchise to milk:-

Star wars vs The Blu-Ray Disc Association.

There should be at least 3 movies in this as well as merchandising as well as spin off X-Box games... the PS3 versions will only come after episode III: BD... The final conflict.

I'll bet you can't wait for the Sith Jar Jar in a Blu-Ray tee shirt complete with lightsabre and universal remote???

Well...we're getting Indiana Jones....I'd say no later than 2015 and not before 2014. It's going to be a while lol. George wants to maximize profits so he'll wait it out until he can make every ounce off of the "10 differerent" Dvd releases he put out since '04.

George Lucas said before he made The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith that he would never make those films and and 10 years later they are on DVD so c'mon George you keep saying no and then you change your mind

Star Wars will be released on Blu-ray whether you like it or not have some consideration for the fans
