There aren't many to choose from correct?

I don't think there are many fighting games on the PS3. I know there is Virtua fighter 5. There is a Tekken game coming out the 6th one I think, and it should be out this year.

If you like the style of game, Super Stardust HD is very, very addictive and has 2 player/co-op. It's only $9.99 on PSN. I never thought I'd be into a game like that, but after playing the demo I just had to buy it.

If you have a 1080p set it's one of the prettiest games you'll see, also. Given how beautiful it is, how addictive it is, and the variety of modes it has with both 1/2 players......I think it's well worth the $9.99.

I suggest at least trying the demo.

I'd also check out Rainbow Six Vegas 2. It comes out Tuesday (3/11.) The first was outstanding.

Did Tekken 5 ever come out on PSN? I don't remember, but it was supposed to.

Tekken 6 will be out later this year and looks good. The next Soulcalibur sequel (which I am particularly exited about) is also coming this year.

Army of 2 is great with a friend. Resistance is also a sweet co op game.

Resistance (off-line co-op) was wicked good fun for my buddy and me.

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is also quite good. Good button smasher.

Pixeljunk Monsters is super-addictive, especially if you do the co-op with the goal of getting all rainbows. Took me and my wife about 2 weeks to do it. We had a blast!

And, of course, Rock Band.

I got Rainbow Six Vegas, but was not impressed with the co-op play. There was no mission briefings like there is on single player, so you don't get the same story experience that you do with single player and/or you have no idea what's going on. Single player seemed OK.

Fight Night Round 3 is only $19.99 most places and is a riot playing with a friend especially if you make 2 characters resembling yourselves.

NHL 08, MLB 08 The Show, NBA2K8... and I would say Madden 08 but the PS3 version sucked. Other than that, I would say Haze will be the ultimate multiplayer FPS.

This title will come out in May. It is gonnna be great. If you like multiplayer, you will like this game. It's from the same people that brought you Goldeneye for N64.
