Default Banana Plugs Terminal connectors Question????

Hi Guys,
I have the DENON 3808 & I would like to buy some speaker cable but this time I want to use Banana plugs, never used them before, so my question:
Can I use these plugs to connect onto the 3808???
Anybody used them before???

This is what I have in mind:

The Airlock High Performance Termination (QED) look like a good buy, anyway any advice will be appreciated

Those cables kind of look like a marketing gimmick to me. I've never seen or heard them before personally but that's just the feeling I get about them. Kind of expensive looking ($60 for 2 meters (including banana plugs)), you MAY want to consider some standard cheap cables and buy the banana plugs separately (in NA you can get them for about $1.50 per pair). It could save you a bunch of money.

Check out Bluejean cable on the web. They offer nice speaker cables in a couple of guages with banana plugs on one or both ends at considerably less than the price quoted above.

By the way, they also have great deals on HDMI cables, optical, whatever.

Hopefully Bluejeans cables ships out to Australia though. I didn't know what was available over there so I couldn't suggest anything.

Yeah, they'll ship anywhere. They suggest non-Canadian international customers use their UK site to save on shipping. Here's their info page:

In the U.S., a good source for electronic gadgets is Radio Shack. I know they have branches in Canada & U.K. I don't know about Australia. They used to be called Tandy in U.K. Get generic wires (12 or 14 gauge), depending on the length. If the length is below 10ft, 16 gauge will be fine. Connect the banana plugs yourself. It is very easy.

Banana Plugs:

Speaker Wires:

Many electronic stores and hardware stores sell banana plugs as well as speaker wires at low prices.

^I think he's referring to the TC's cables not the radioshack ones. I could be wrong though.
