Post Starting April 1st, Target is getting rid of...

Peech has good info from Target!

Well today at Target, the HD-DUD section was reduced from 4 ft. to 1 ft.

As of April 1st, Target is getting rid of all HD-DUD's and moving the Blu-Rays
to a 16ft. section rather than the current 8ft.

little did I know that when I went into work today, it would turn out to be a great day. I knew this day would come, but there in my mailbox were the orders to nearly clear the shelves of red-duds. It was so satisfying pulling out the duds and replacing them with blus. Anyways thought I would share.

LOL my local fye which had 3 rows of hd-dud were completely gone when i went into tonight. manager said they only sell bluray now and corp. told them to send them all the hd-duds back......now back to toshiba or the studios or just fye's head office. either way, go fye!

btw just though id share, i walked into the gamestop there in the mall and there were 30+ blurays "used" from 12.99,14.99, and 17.99......i finally bought dog day after noon but then i noticed 90% "USED/PREOWNED" of the blus were still sealed at the top.........hot blu's? either way they had 4 fox movies maked at 14.99....simpsons,the fly, mr and mrs smith and man on fire.......didnt really want any of them (i own the simpsons)......great deal though.

You bought them 'used' at GameStop, obviously they were hot.

I think probably a combination of hot and people unloading free ones from all the 10 free offers, etc.

My gamestops only sell used copies of the Blus that specifically say "NOT FOR RESALE" on them.
