Default Tower.com Problems

Just wanted to pass this along. I ordered "The Lives of Others" on BD from Tower.com because it was super cheap, only $12.99 plus shipping. However, they sent me the DVD version of the movie. I think what happened is that they realized they had the item labeled incorrectly as a BD because they have since made the item "No Longer Availalble." What I'm upset at is that they have not responded to my 3 emails. It's fine if they made a mistake on the website, but I need this to be made right by either giving me my money back or by exchanging the DVD for the BD which is what the website said I was ordering in the first place.

Check out the link to the item on their site.... http://www.tower.com/details/details.cfm?wapi=107906003

ouch... that sucks.... I ordered Crimson Tide, The Rock, and No Country for Old Men on Blu from Tower, and got all three in one package before No Country's release date....... so I would have to say, in addition to their great prices, their free shipping was FAST, and FREE (can't stress FREE enough!)

I had a great first experience with them.

The prices are good and the shipping was fast; unfortunately, if they don't fix this problem one way or another, I'll be sticking to Amazon.com and my local retail stores for BD purchases from now on.

I believe that Tower.com was bought entirely by Caiman, the somewhat infamous Amazon marketplace merchant. Read some of the feedback they have on there for experiences with them. Their fine as long as nothing goes wrong with the order, but their customer service is pathetic. Don't expect much help from them.
