How many BD's come with the extra Digital Copy? - Blu-ray Forum

I just bought Hitman and was quite amused to see that it had an extra disc with a copy I can put on my Ipod.

What other BD's come with this feature?

I searched amazon and couldn't find any others.

The only titles that I know of that are using DC are:
Juno
Alvin and the Chipmunks

So far, only Fox movies have it.

So how does the Hitman DC work? Since it comes on a disc, you just put it in the computer and transfer it to whatever?

Yeah, you either have to use Itunes or something from MS called Playforsure...

Just saves a copy onto your drive... I have it on my Ipod now... Wish all BD's did this because it would be a great feature to have when I'm on a business trip.

I wrote about that today I agree 100% lotta people have ipods exc. and to be able to get the movie in awsome looking and amazing sounding BLU quality AND get something to either pop in a friends dvd player or stick on an ipod is a great idea hats off to fox

So can the extra disk work like a regular DVD (i.e. play the movie in a regular DVD player) or is it strictly a digital copy for use computers, ipods, etc?

It's a digital file, and nothing more.

AVP: Requiem is going to have one if I'm not mistaken.

Question to to original poster, is there a big logo on the artwork at the top of your Hitman that says "digital copy included" or was that just on the promo adds?

I was amused too - after I realized that I was trying to play the wrong disc in my PS3!! At first I didn't know what the hell was going on, I could not even see disc one in the case under the insert! Duhhhhhh.

My copy doesn't say that at the front/top, it mentions it on the back though.

Mine says it across the top, just like the pic's.
