For those that think downloads are ready to take over, stuff like this is what will get people frustrated with the idea of them.
Below is a link to to a thread on tivocommunity from somebody who "bought' several movies from Amazon Unbox. Later on, he went to re-downloaded the movies he had bought and was told they were now unavailable and they had no idea when he would be able to re-download the movies he had bought. Evidently if a movie is playing on the cable movie channels, you cannot re-download it even if you bought it. So a purchase isn't really a purchase huh? Downloads will not be a big threat until content providers stop pulling stuff like this.
