Default My question on online gaming from EA.

I just want to is do you have to pay a subscription charge for Team Fortress 2 on The Orange Box and do you have to do the same thing for other EA games cos they're the only ones which have "Registration required to access online features" (Burnout Paradise, Need for Speed ProStreet, even Fifa Street 3). I went into the TF2 game and it said something about a user agreement thing (I've only went into that once, so I don't remember well) which might be something to do with sub. charges. Can anyone help, cos I couldn't be bothered to pay sub. charges for online stuff.

Typically, PS3 online games don't have a fee to play the online aspects of them.

I know, I've played the likes of COD4, Sega Rally and Lost Planet (hoping to get Warhawk soon) online, but it could be something different with the likes of TF2 being a possible premium service.

TF2 isn't. The Terms of Use is EA covering what's expected of players etc.

If it's going to cost you money to play it online, it'll ask you for your credit card # .

Standard swear off your soul thing and if you do something naughty they will take your internet privileges away.. heck even god father had you do that and its a single player game.

Its about protecting there cohognes if you do something bad or if someone does something bad to you, and it lets them deny service at a later time, doesn't mean they will just that they reserve the right.

Similar to Microsoft operating systems and software where you sign your soul away where they reserve the right to ask you to uninstall there system for doing bad things, they are not going to but they reserve the right to pull the plug.
