Default HDMI Cables......

As we all know the HDMI leads are " data highways" that carry both digital video and digital audio signals. Ive read lots of postings on this and various sites about cheap HDMI leads being as good as the more expensive brands --ie--MONSTER CABLE.

this is a list of cable specs that i found in a book---

>0.74 Gbps - 576p , 50HZ , 8-bit---dvd player

>1.65 Gbps - 720p/1080i , 8-bit colour---HD set top box

>3.71 Gbps - 1080p , 50HZ , 8-bit---Bluray disc

>5.57 Gbps - 1080p , 50HZ , 12-bit---PS3.

Now all of the cheap HDMI leads may give a nice picture and audio quality BUT as you can see from the above list-the bottom lead ( which carries the 5.57GBPS signal ) looks to be the best---SO AM I RIGHT IN SAYING THAT THE CHEAP LEADS ARE NOT AS GOOD AS THE MORE EXPENSIVE ONES????
