I saved a replay on PES08, would I be able to upload it to YouTube straight from the PS3 HDD?

Try the memory stick or any portable device.

Replay data is usually saved in a more efficient manner with co-ordinates, timing, velocity, moves pulled off at each moment in time, that sortof thing. I don't think the game can output a real video file and I don't think the PS3's web browser supports uploading of videos.

The game does not save the replay as a movie file; so that wouldn't work.

It doesn't, but you can upload photos
