Default Creative accounting

Don't know where this fits excactly, but have anyone here read this article?

http://www.techdirt.com/articles/201...10310122.shtml

Also-this about the recording industry:http://www.techdirt.com/articles/201...82610186.shtml

Hard to feel sorry for industry giants when one reads this Think the recording industry might have ways to go around the system, but this does not apply for the movie industry. Any thoughts on this?

Not necessarily, it's about how Hollywood do their dishonest business in accounting.

Read the article, it's about how they do their business in general, Harry Potter was just an example.

So not necessarily, it makes an interesting discussion.

Didn't know about that thread, but like Q said:It's just used as an example, but guess the other thread does that too.Maybe a moderator can either merge them or close this one if people find it redundant.

But how can they talk about ethics when their buisnessmodel is like that? Maybe there is no right or wrong in the buisnessworld, only power and perceptions. . . .

I find it funny that they're complaining about illegal downloading hurts their business while at the same time stealing with arms & legs.

Greed is powerful indeed.

That certainly seems to be what it is all about. Is it a new thing? I'm not so sure, but the immorality of it is breathtaking to me.
