Amazon got them in stock today. You should be able to get it by Friday with next day air shipping (two-day if you want to take a chance)

Amazon? good luck on that i had made my order for flightplan/pearlharbor/ladyinthewater from them since last friday, with an originnal delivery day for tommorrow. When i checked my account this morning it said due to be delivered 26-27 and i have next day shipping. what makes it worst is that amazon has two distribution facilities within an hour from my home. sacramento/ reno and south sanfrancisco. ( i wonder if i can pick it up myself? )

richmond? really thats even closer, i live in berkeley and thats like a 5 min drive. altough there are some parts of richmond which are offlimits for me dont wanna get mugged/shot/drugged or end up in the papers before i can watch my movies . to that note i would like to make a correction to my previous post. my package shipped today but still says estimaated delivery day of dec 22-26, it better come tommorrow cuz i paid a premium for freight.

i love berkeley, lived there for four years.

but yeah, i think richmond has the highest per capita murder rate in the US. i went there once to pick up a package from the UPS center there because they screwed up and i wasn't waiting any longer.

I see what you're saying. Don't they ship out the same day? Guess not. Ordered mine yesterday around noon, and it still says "shipping soon" today.

if the product you order says it ships within 24 hr, it may ship the same day if you place your order by say 2-4 pm if they can process is fast enough for you. then again it is only days before the holidays and i expect them to be swamped right now, expect the same with UPS/FEDEX/USPS.

I think another reason that there are a few ppl that are missing out on some titles is that they dont have enough copies to ship to everyone. I had the same problem with windtalkers/last samurai/ant bully/flight of the phoenix. In fact ive been seing a trend lately especialy at retail ( BB / CC ) they dont have most/all of the new releases out in stores sometimes.

Anyway if you ordered yesterday it may ship out today, Good Luck on that man.

Didn't ship out from Amazon yesterday either . DVDEmpire just them in stock today and they always ship out same day, unfortunately they don't offer Saturday next day if you still wanted it for Xmas.
