Default I have been gone for a week

So I have been away from this webstie for roughly around a week. I had to move and to other shenanagins that has kept me from visiting this website. Its sad and I definitely needed a BD fix. I finally got internet up and I am good to go, to offer insight or whatnot.

anyway, the real reason for this post was to more or less, vent.

I have been gone for a week and nothing exciting has happened other than a release date for Batman Begins. I am used to seeing all sorts of great news topics everyday. Is it just me or has BD sort of plateaued for the time being? Its kind of sad that there are still no release dates for Uni or Paramount. I hate to be negative but common people! wheres the goods?

Is this bothering anyone else or just me? If Im alone in this world, please feel free to shut this thread down, but I would like other people's take on this.

Is anyone here sick of the wait for some good, solid news?? Maybe I just wish I could continue to bash DUDers... i dunno

The only news i needed was the Toshiba Press Release about HD DVD failure... i got that 1 month ago... so from now.. it's business as usual. Universal never did a Bluray. I would expect a couple of months. Paramount need to ReAuthor and buy their place into Replicant Plan, witch they was late it..

I really expect movies to be available around Mid summer from both... at the latest..

Whytewash you have made some valid points. At this moment, we are all waiting for some title announcements from Paramount and Universal. Everything else that has been posted and reported in the last week is filler.

see thats what i gathered... all of the news announcements have been fillers. I know that it takes time to get the discs to the market but at least make some sort of press conference/announcements for the movie lover's sake!

I'm sorry for you.

Your life as it relates to Blu-ray will get less and less satisfying. Blu-ray will become mundane, and the only excitement will be new releases. You won't wait for announcements anymore, since all major features will be routinely on Blu-ray disks, and all will have lossless audio. I think you need to take up homebrewing as a hobby to fill in all of the empty time in your life.
