Wings is the only one I have seen. Well done movie. Maybe it should be redone with sound.... Hmmmm.. Nevermind.

I've seen both of these, and Wings is definitely the better of the two. If you had included Sunrise, however, I would have chosen that as the best. For those who don't know, there wasn't really a proper "Best Picture" category the first year. Basically, there were 2- "Best Production" and "Unique & Artistic Production". Wings won the former, Sunrise won the latter. They later eliminated the second category and re-named the first, and now Wings is recognized as the Best Picture winner from that year.

My re-cap may not be 100% accurate, but that's the general jist.

Thanks for the info. You learn something everyday if you pay attention. Now I need to watch Sunrise .

Sunrise is brilliant. I had the pleasure of seeing a restored print with a liveorganist - one of my favorite cinematic experiences ever.
