We've gotten another question today from a few readers (albeit in various differently worded forms): Is there any possibility that Toshiba is negotiating with Paramount to stick with standard DVD and NOT support Blu-ray Disc?

The answer is no. We've confirmed that Paramount has MANY Blu-ray Disc titles already in the works, and we expect the first official announcements very soon.

I don't think there have been any official or reliable reports stating this. Other than what Bill has mentioned over at The Bits.

You would think they would re-lease the one they had. They couldn't have been that stupid and thrown them away. I want The Warriors. Can you Dig It. CAN YOU DIG IT!

Bill Hunt's been dead on for the whole "Format War", if he or Penton-Man says it, it's money.

Thats the thing about so-called "rumors" from these two. They don't deal in rumors. Only advanced information to the public when is appropriate.

I would say Bill Hunt is 100% reliable.

And Marc. I'm disappointed in your new avator. Kate Beckinsale looked much better in the old one

Thats from a different Movie poster version. I have it framed at home and it is my favorite version. Looks better larger. If you want to see her 100% naked in a movie... The Haunted.

Kate is hot enough to override all bad dialogue in a movie.

He means well, and I am sure if he was able to say more he would.
I am just saying that using that quote as an answer to when is a bit redundant. (Because we can suppose now that very soon obviously means more than two weeks )

Paramount just came back to Blu-ray in Feb. Why does everybody think that's a long time ago? If it was August and they still haven't announced titles I could understand but it's been a month. My question to you and everybody else...¿¿¿snoıɹǝs os ʎɥʍ
