Blu-ray on my PC

Hello all im new to this so bare with me!.
Here is my problem .I have had mycurrent set up for about 18 mnths and all is well ,I am able to play DVD,High Def from downloaded samples etc.
Acouple of weeks ago i decided to invest in a Blu-Ray drive(PioneerBDC-S02)
I only want this for playback of movies (its not a BD writer).It comes complete with Cyberlink BD sollutions c/w Power DVD 7.3(after downloading update)
I keep my PC up to date with all the latest drivers (Graphics,Sound etc) and have the latest Nvidia drivers (169.21) .When i try to play a BD Power DVD reports that my driver is incompatible and asks me to check if my PC meets min requirments and as far as i can see it does .I know my Graphics card is not HDCP (but I have a software sollution for that) This message is as far as i get though.I have a HD Scape Sampler disk, if i open this disk in 'My Computer' open the BDV Folder then the STREAM folder I can find some of the video files on the disk and open them in 'Power DVD' and the HD quality is superb.
Sorry to go on but has anyone come accross this before or is there somthing not right with my PC .What i have read so far suggests the OEM software is no good and I would have to invest in POWER DVD Ultra but im loathed to throw more money at it for the same result.
