I thought Scorsese filmed enough for at least a couple additional hours and it was edited down to three hours. I wonder if restoring some chopped footage would help it. Not that the blu-ray will include an uncut version, but...

Daniel Day Lewis was phenomenal in GoNY. I think I'll rent TWBB just to see his performance.

His performance is so good in TWBB that you can't take your eyes off of him. He literally captures you for the length of the film.

I was trying to rent TWBB from the $1/night Redbox machine at the market today. I had a free rental code and I can't justify spending more 'til it's BLU. It listed it on the screen, but it wouldn't let me check out. I never used Redbox before so I asked the couple behind me waiting to return movies for help. It took 4 of us 3 minutes to realize that even though it was on the list, it's not actually available until TUESDAY. I felt like such a dummy-head.

I've never seen this, but I watched TWBB last night and will definitely be purchasing this. I've gotten into some Scorsese films lately and Daniel Day-Lewis' performance in There Will Be Blood was amazing, so this has become a must buy for me. I like DiCaprio as well . . . I just watched the Aviator again and he was fantastic in that.

I really don't think you'll be disappointed in this. I'm not a huge fan of Leo, but he was good. However, it was definitely Day-Lewis who stole the show.

Great, great film.

This is an awesome movie all around, I would recommend it to anyone. Daniel-Day Lewis is awesome in this, and Leonardo is great as well. A must-buy for any serious Blu-ray collector.
