Can't access Rataouille Calibration - Blu-ray Forum

Whenever i click on total menus - audio/video setup, the screen goes black and nothing else happens. Not sure what's going on. My setup is PS3 40GB, Sony HT-SF2000 system and Pioneer kuro 50inch HD plasma. I've already done a manual calibration based on the other threads for my particular TV but was curious what the rat cal looked like. no idea what i'm doing wrong though.

Disconnect your optical wire and use only HDMI and it should work.

i only have HDMI connected. no one else have the same problem? i can tell it's trying to do something but just nothing shows up.

Try to update your ps3,that might work.

already updated. found the solution on another thread. Hitting 1 on the remote during the black screen makes it work. i have NO idea why. seems very stupid but sounds like it's not fully compatible with the latest firmware updates for the PS3.
