Sid and Nancy Blu-ray

Sid and Nancy Blu-ray Review

Was just at Best Buy and they had 3 copies of the Gary Oldman movie Sid and Nancy on Blu Ray. Can't find anything on the web about this. It's not even on the Best Buy website. Price tag said $24.99 but when I looked it up on the Best Buy computer, it said $14.99. Distributed by MGM if that helps.

I love how best buy just puts these out like everywhere has them. not even mentioning that they are exclusive or even announcing the release

So, true. I'm a huge Gary Oldman fan I wanted to add this to my collection for years. So imagine my shock when i walk by and see this on the shelf.

Wow, I hope some other MGM titles show up as unexpected exclusives as well. The Burning, The Fog, The Howling, Jeepers Creepers, Scanners, etc. Yeah, I like my horror.

Thanks, as I will be picking this up 1st thing tomorrow. It's too bad Criterion could not have released it, as the special features are fantastic.

I can't believe this just came outta nowhere! Wonder if there is/will be others that will slip under the radar.

I have the OOP Criterion DVD, so I will for sure be holding onto that...but I am anxious to hear what others will have to say about the transfer and features (if any).

A pair of featurettes

if i remember correctly these are the same features that were included the first time Best Buy released "Sid & Nancy" exclusively, years back on DVD. Back then it had an exclusive slipcover and not sure if it was released nationwide afterwards...
