I finally upgraded my receiver, from a Pioneer VSX-815 to the new Pioneer VSX-9120TXH. All I can say is WOW! The sound is completely different. There is more separation in the front channels, MCACC setup was much improved over the last series that I had, and the HDMI switching....

I've got my BD player and my Xbox connected via HDMI, and my cable box connected with componant. All feeds exit via HDMI to the TV, and the sound is fantastic. I couldn't be happier right now. Next step, a BD player that bitstreams TruHD and DTS-HD MA!

Glad to hear your happy...great receiver you got and now like you said if you can get the new audio formats you would be even more amazed that the sound can be even better then your current setup!!!
