Some of the good folks here at Blu-ray.com recommended that I sign up for www.wiialerts.com. We'll I did just that.

After more than four months trying to get one, I FINALLY got a Wii from Amazon.com.

www.wiialerts.com called my cellphone and alerted me that Amazon had some Wii's in stock. I jumped right on it and Amazon had the Wii for $249.

I will have my very own Wii console in 2 days (Amazon Prime, baby!).

I can hardly wait to create my own Mii (a Wii icon that represents me).

Now I need Dance Dance Revolution and the Beer Pong games for Wii.

Hugs to all my www.Blu-ray.com gamers for helping me to finally snag a Wii.

I wonder if the Wii plays Blu-ray discs?
(Just kidding! I know it only has lousy 480i image output).

480p if you use a component cable

Not even a week for me. I won it at a Christmas party and it was on Craigslist a week later. I'm ashamed to say what I bought with the money though.

Nope...a 360. I bought it for gaming but I hardly even use it. Should have bought a PS3 since all I spend more time watching movies then playing video games.

It took me about 5 months to finally get one.

I do not get why so many posts say that people who bought the Wii don't use it. I can only guess that this is due to the PS3. If one has both devices, the PS3 is clearly better. I do not have a PS3. I wanted the Wii so I could swing the wiimote (and my nunchuck) around while playing with myself and my friends.

My Wii from Amazon will arrive here on Friday.

Guess what I am doing this weekend?

It's amazing that Wii still has this supply "shortage".

I bought it on launch w/ the Zelda game...I never had the patience with it as I thought I would have. But Mario games rock, i.e. Paper Mario, Mario Galaxy, and now SSBB (okay, not really a Mario game, but great pick-and-play game!).

I got one from my boss for being top-seller 3 months straight. Not free, he just slid one aside for me when they came in. I was bored in a month, sold it after 6-7 months or so of it collecting dust.

I plan to get a wii when they release the new star wars game, the idea of running around with a lightsabre and actually getting to fight with it rocks! I just hope they use the speaker in the controller to it's full effect! After that, I'll probably let it sick and collect dust....

I dont get what the big deal about SMG is, the camera angles crap the voices are annoying and it takes 5,6 seconds to get boring.
