How is internet access with 2.20 update? - Blu-ray Forum

Does anyone notice internet being faster or more improved like SOny has promised this update would do?

I mean I guess it's faster, but I don't really notice anything different.

Not sure yet but one thing I noticed was that my wireless PS3 actually finished the update before my wired one did. First time that has ever happened. Usually the wired one is about twice as fast so I start the wireless one first, walk over and start the wired one and then usually complete the process on the wired one while the wireless PS3 is still downloading. Tonight, the wireless one finished first. Of course, this was as I was downloading the update so if it wasn't just a fluke, the last update must have improved it for me (2.17).

linked videos that wouldn't play before on my friends website are now working, and it does seem faster to me

any improvement in Flash and Quick time videos? I so want to look Apple HD trailers on the big TV

I noticed it loaded web pages faster and in some cases 2 minutes faster, its more stable and additional flash playback, I think they updated the browsers flash plugin.. not sure what version its at now.

You can save the target of a link. /\ > File > Save Target

The web pages seemed to load faster and more efficiently. Not a gigantic difference overall, but there is noticeable improvement.

i think bluray.com loads alot faster thats all i care about
