Default Video Out

I really hope they eventually upgrade the video-out feature. The huge borders have GOT to go! I hate playing on my 60" TV with about a 40" display
The XMB is full-screen, as are videos played from the system. Why not the games?

Do you play games on your TV? They shrink the screen down if you output to TV.

My mom has a 37 inch olevia lcd and when it is in 1 to 1 mode it displays the acctual size of the games not the upconvertted size. your tv may be in 1 to 1mode preventing the screen from being filled all the way up. hope that helps

He's talking about outputting a PSP game through a PSP component cable to his tv.

Thanks Shin, I thought I was going crazy reading the replies
So my TV can Zoom, but only 2 notches and it barely adds 4". I wish the TV had a more aggressive zoom feature. Like...let me zoom in as far as I want.
Or better yet, hook the PSP to my PS3 and use IT to upscale! That would be extra awesome as a feature!
