As I near the completion of a home theatre that took nearly 4 yrs to put together and the only thing I desire from here on out is new media and a 2.0 blu-ray player, I ask myself should I get some sort of Battery Back up device to insure safety for my equipment for power outages.
With this question I have the following quesst for knowledge. A) What is the best back up unit out there? B) Do I really need it? C) I have a power conditioner already is there a unit I could use in conjunction? D) Do I try and find one that will allow my family to have something to do during an outage? E) Can I find one that suits my needs for less than $300 or so? F) What is a good reliable brand? Any help is much appreciated in this matter The following is a list of my components in case needed Sony Kds-60a2000 Sony BDP-S1 panamax 5300 Yamaha RX-V3800 and the newest Direct TV HD DVR (forget the model #) |
