Default Anyone have a PS3 with a Panasonic XR-57?

I got the XR57 receiver a while back because my old Pany was busted and I wanted HDMI for the PS3 audio. Now I'm hearing a rumbling or two that there is no "Bass Management" for LPCM signals on this reciver. I'm not entirely sure what that means exactly. Does that mean it would be better to just use the Optical Audio and miss out on the advance codec processing and SACD playback then it would be to just use the HDMI LPCM and hope for the best with my Athena Micra-6 satelite speakers?

Another bad issue I heard is that the XR57 will not pass 1080p through HDMI. That's pretty absurd but luckilly I don't have a 1080p set at the moment so it's a bit of a non issue.

Sorry, I don't have an answer to your question, but a question of my own. I' have been looking at getting the panasonic xr57 and wanted to know what you think of yours. I'm pretty much deciding between that one and the onkyo 604. thanks
