Dark Sector = Immersive Experience - Blu-ray Forum

I got my hands on Dark Sector yesterday and I must say that this game is awesome. I was left unsatisfied by the 8 hour Uncharted story and was in the market to satisfy my hunger. The game is very polished. Do not judge the game from the 7/10 reviews all over the place.

The story is engaging (I am on the 3rd chapter). The enemies are at par with the enemies in Uncharted. The music is amazing. I felt like I was in Moscow. The graphics are great even though there is a screen tear now and then. The weapon system is cool. I love the Black Market feature in the game.

The only downside with this game is that the Multiplayer is very shallow. With games like Vegas 2 and COD 4, the multiplayer for this game shall be forgotten soon.

If you guys love TPS or just dark bloody games or cutting up the enemies, this game is for you. It has a similar feel like GOW but I like this one better. GOW story was not as immersive as Dark Sector's.

A solid 4/5 from me.

PS - Instead of buying Vegas 2, get this one. I sold my Vegas 2 because it has the nastiest textures and graphics on the PS3 system. People already know about the server problems. As I said don't judge by reviews because VeGAS 2 got 8.5/10.

I'll pick up Dark Sector soon. I really only use the reviews as a guideline as to what type of game it is, but my score is generally higher than the review average, and this title looks interesting.

this game is definitely worth it! i cant put it down. it plays like RE4/gears of war. the graphics is top notch along with a voice overs. this game should be rated higher then what some of the reviews has it at

how long is the single player campaign? if I can beat it in a week than I'll just rent it.

I've heard it is fairly short. I think IGN said like 8 hours or just under.

12-15 hours

After that you have the choice of playing the game with the Hard mode unlocked.

Ebay is a smart choice.....

If you sort by Buy It Now and Price + Shipping: Lowest First, you can get a copy for around $45 which is not bad at all.

PS - I am in love with the shallow multiplayer that this game offers. I love being Tenno and owning people.

I have Gamepass at BB so I am just going to rent it. No reason to spend 60$ on most 10 hour games. I am really looking forward to the game though so it was hard for me to wait past release day to rent it.

I really enjoyed the whole game. I did get stuck a few times, and had to go online to find things out. I hate when I get stuck. Other then that, some really cool boss fights, good weapons, and graphics.

how is the fighting? do you always have the reticle in center of screen like FPS? or is it like 3rd person fighting games like Dark alliance, Untold legends?
Are there many enemies at the same time? any dodge move?
