Default Deciding between two 120hz tv's

I've checked out the models, a Sony Bravia XBR KDL-46XBR4 46" 1080p LCD HDTV and a Samsung LNT4671F 46-inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV. Prices around are pretty close, and I'm kind of leaning towards the Samsung because it looked very nice (they had Night at the Museum running on it), but the Sony looked just as good. Any input on this decision would be greatly appreciated, i'm going to be getting one in the next couple of weeks. Also, I was thinking Amazon b/c it's more well known than some of the smaller sites.

I have the xbr4 and it is an amazing set. Excellent blacks, stunning picture. Either way you go, you're in for a really nice home theater experience.
Happy hunting!

both are flawless sets. the samsung has a little bit better color saturation IMO. you might want to hold off until the xbr6 is released in the bigger sizes. theres not too much on them at the moment but i think they are scheduled for june.

Yea, I've seen the 52's, and they look great, but I was looking in the 2000-2300 price range, plus its going in a small bedroom for now. How does the PS3 look on it, been collecting Blu-Rays for it.

XBR4 and Sony Ps3 were meant for each other, its a definite marriage in heaven

There's many debates on it but the 120hz on the Sony I read is bit more refined and the black levels are darker , read up on ultimateavmag.

Samsung Black level 0.019fL
Sony Black level 0.006fL

All in all they are too very closely matched sets, you only need a tip off for your decision. I made my decision with Sony.

When does the xbr6 come out? My families Samsung DLP's lightbulb went out again, and my parents are sick of replacing it constantly, so they have decided to get a LCD. I told them to get a xbr4, but if the xbr6 comes out, we should just wait and be tvless in the living room. Do you know what features and improvements its going to have over the xbr4/5 and is it worth the wait?
