With Profile 2.0 coming, will there be side effects?

As is true for most other connected electronics (PC's, ipods, iphones, cell phones) there must be some potential for viruses, spyware and other malicious items being installed in BD players. Have game consoles, like the PS3, been victims of this type of activity, or have they in some way been proofed? You'd hate for two things to happen, though, the first being your player getting screwed by a virus, and the second would be having others monitor what you watch. Paranoid, I know, but something to consider nonetheless.
