Just picked up The Evil Dead 2 today on blu for my Boomstick fix! I hear the video quality isn't so hot but I am anxious to hear all the crazy sound effects in PCM 5.1...

would love Army of Darkness on blu...but not until it's better quality than the HD-DVD version.

With all the versions they released on DVD you'll probably get some iteration of it that suits your fancy. There are literally about ten different DVD editions.

I want to see one with seamless branching on it with all the different versions. There are at least 5 different cuts available.

I like the part where he was telling those medevil people the prices of his guns and told them to shop at Quick-E-Mart or whatever store he was mentioning. (Like they really knew what he was talking about)

Anchor Bay no longer has a license on the film

I'm hoping there's a nice region free foreign edition from better elements than Universal had with the proper ending intact

That trilogy is fantastic -- though it is the king of what...30-dipping? Gotta be at least that many releases of them all put together.

Hell, I think I had 4 copies of the Evil Dead at one point...
