Other UK-Only BD Releases??? - Blu-ray Forum

Thinking about ordering the UK version of Beowulf, just wondering if there are any other good BD's that are only available in UK?

Did a little searching, didnt find the usual suspects that we are all waiting for (Transformers, LOTR, Star Wars, Goonies... OK, maybe not).

I would like to think all of our faves will be on BD soon, but Im sure that Im not the only one impatient enough to import more. Thanks guys.

hey mate if you look in the blu-ray movies and releases page there is a sub board that has a europe release thread which has a bunch of upcoming blu ray releases in europe have a look in there and you might find something you like

Amazon.co.uk has a 3 for 2 sale on some region free bds
They consist of
The Rundown(Welcome to the Jungle)
The Recruit
Bruce Almighty
Air Force One
Almost famous
Cinderella Man
The Island
Starship Troopers
Starsky and Hutch

These all play in my US PS3 as well as the Sony BDP-S300

Some others that are region free, but arent in the sale are
Transformers 1986

Thanks, I did see that thread for the Europe releases, but seems like most titles listed were either in another language or were already available in the US. Guess I should have specified that I would like it to be in English

Not a big deal though as I am just starting my BD collection and have plenty of other movies to buy... Just saw the threads on Beowulf from UK and was hoping there were some other must-haves that the North Americans "must-import".
