Default PS3 struggling with 50fps video

I have some vids I uploaded to youtube made with windows moviemaker at 50fps 1080 to match my cameras optimum settings. They have been uploaded to youtube and via chrome it recognizes the 50fps and plays it perfectly.

However, the PS3 does not like the audio format in WMV so no audio plays in WMV format. Also, the file size is super huge for its length in time. So I wanted to convert and I actually paid money for aimersoft video converter.

Converting the WMV to AVCHD causes the audio to go too fast (10% ish so by the time you reach the end its way way out on PS3. PC plays it fine, Oppo blu ray plays it fine.

If I download the youtube version it goes a bit jerky and the audio is still out of sync on PS3 and PC. Oppo plays it fine.

If I play the video on my PC in WMV format it works. If I play the conversion to AVC the audio is out.

The Oppo is the only player that plays everything but it has no storage solution outside of using USB.

So why are video converters and PS3 having difficulty playing these files properly? It makes no sense at all.

thanks for any replies..

If anyone could download a 50fps (Euro/Australia) youtube and try playing it on a PS3 let me know of your findings.

Thanks.
