SplinterCell? - Blu-ray Forum

anyone know if this game is any good? Im thinking about picking it up. for ps3 obviously

Oh yeah. I have played all the games. However only the first one on PS2, the rest I have bought, played, and beat on XBOX and 360, but they gameplay is very similar. I really enjoy them. An excellent departure from FPS games which I also love, but there is much more strategy involved and I even get kind of nervous playing Splinter Cell.

I cleared game on 360
but it s already... 18months ago?

*short (1st play cleared in less than 10hours)
*on 8 missions you play 4 times in the same place (enemy basecamp)
*no video cut scene to boost scenario between stages.

but still, I liked it (I repeat, it was 1 year and a half ago)
now, you have today a lot of more interesting games to play

there ok to me they get boring quick though i did like double agent a lot

I have Splinter Cell: Double Agent on PS3, and it's a great game. Unfortunately, Ubisoft fullfilled initial pre-orders and then pulled the game from the market for a while in order for the PS3 installed base to increase a bit. That really sucked, because it prevented the online portion from being very populated. I had the game from it's initial release, but there was nobody to really play online.

Double Agent on PS3 is a great game though, and I think it's now available for around $39. It's a lot of fun.
