If MS wants Yahoo bad enough, it will happen. Basically the article said Yahoo made a 'counteroffer' for an additional 12 billion, brings our total to 56.6 billion.

MS is making a couple of first in company history here. One is they are considering of borrowing this money instead of taking it out of their cash reserves; Two, they always develop something in-house to compete, this is the first major merger to acquire someone who is already successful. It is going to be interesting to see how this will all play out.
