I've never seen this or Christmas Vacation in a brick and mortar store. They're both easily found online though.

Never watched Christmas Vacation either. But Christmas Story is a classic. Must watch holiday movie.

Those two movies will almost always only be in a BM store at christmass time and this year they putting out some type of super special edition of A christmass Story on Blu Ray.

As FEP3108 indicated, most B&M stores won't display seasonal movies of this nature until the appropriate time of year. Although this is not such a strict rule with seasonal Blu-rays, for a catalogue item such as this it would be unlikely that many stores would have it at this time of year.

I saw both at my local Walmart during the holidays. I never expect to find holiday movies out at any other time though. I imagine they don't sell too well during the other seasons.

Wasn't there something on DigitalBits.com about a special edition of this title coming out? I seem to remember someone mentioning them puting together new features for a future release of it.

Correct. It would be best to wait for the re-release. I had heard that the quality of the current release could be better.

i asked about this movie because my wife asked me to. she really enjoyed this movie and we did want to see it last christmas but didnt find it at all.

we were like.. this is xmas holiday and no a christmas story on blu

Man, you're missing out. Christmas Vacation is a classic, and I personally would recommend it over Christmas Story any day. Chevy Chase at his best.

And don't forget Randy Quaid... Then in Vegas Vacation, it seemed as though Chevy Chase was trying to hard to be funny...

But Christmas Vacation is probably my favorite of the Vacation series (then Vacation, then Vegas Vacation, then European Vacation.... they should release these on Blu-Ray by the way!)
