(didnt know where to put this because it falls under both hdtv discussion and ps3 discussion so ill put it here)
i have a relatively old set (Samsung HP-S5033 720p native, can do 1080i) http://www.hdtvsolutions.com/Samsung-HP-S5033.htm and i own a 40gb ps3 (connected via hdmi) i was just wondering how i would get optimal picture quality from these two things without paying a professional for calibration. i have heard of the DVE on BD, but would this really help me? plus, what would the ideal settings for my ps3 be with respect to my tv? and would anyone know of the ideal settings for my tv as well? it has a "movie" mode, but i dont know if this would help a lot of people say to just play around with it and see what looks best but i really dont know how to do that and worry i might ruin the factory settings (which may or may not be top notch to begin with) any help would be greatly appreciated |
