He does not sell the player itself, its an e-book you get for the 1 pound, that is supposed to teach you how to get one for below 10 pounds.
That definitely is one of those scams, where it either works like a pyramid scheme or you need to sign up for like a 1000 things to get a chance at buying a cheap player...

I remember the same kind of crap going on when the PS3 launched. "Pay me money and I'll send you my friend's email address. He has a PS3 and might be willing to sell it." (this was an actual auction back then) Ebay should immediately pull this kind of crap, it's just a scam.

The obvious catch is in the thread title. Clearly it is a Blu-Ray Palyer that's on sale, much different from a Blu Ray Player...
