Default Google Street View

For those of you who don't know what Google Street View is, it's basically like driving down the streets of select cities and seeing everything from the car POV. It's really awesome. Only select cities have it. I know SF was one of the first, obviously. Then they did some the bigger cities around the country.

Well, I'm east of SF about 30-40 miles, and we finally got Street View. It most of the streets, but then it looks like it randomly skipped a few for no particular reason. But yeah.

Like, they didn't do our exact street, but they did the street connecting to ours and you can still see our place from that street. Some friends and I found out they must have done this in early September 2007 because we found a college marquee that gave time indication on it. That's coupled with the fact that I knew it had be somewhere in 2007 becaue our roommate moved out before the new year, yet his car shows up in the picture. But words.

Anyhow, Street View is a great way to waste some time for those of us who love finding things to do at work besides, you know, working. Check it out. And if you aren't freaked out about people seeing your place, post your home or favorite locations. Or, as has been known to happen, post people getting caught doing funny things, like picking their nose, or bending over and showing massive thong. Yeah.
