Deep color feature on a receiver?

I plan on buying the Pioneer VSX-LX50 receiver this week (hopefully).

This is a European model.

Now, I have been comparing this receiver with the VSX-LX60 on the site above.
There is a feature that the LX60 and LX70 have, but the LX50 lacks, that is the "HDMI Deep Colour" feature. The VSX-LX50 is HDMI 1.3, but for some reason it is missing the 'HDMI Deep Color" feature. This seems weird to me.

Or maybe I have the wrong idea about the "HDMI Deep Colour" feature.
Isnt this feature about the receiver being able to pass the Deep color (x.v.Color) from the player to the tv?

If anyone has any idea what this "HDMI Deep color" feature is about on receivers, please explain to me.
