I did not watch this when it was shown in HK.

It should be a good horror movie. On the other hand, our HK actor, Edison Chan, acted in this movie. Read some reviews and he was quite good in the movie.

Also, I am a fan of Sarah Michelle Gellar

Wasn't Amber Tamblyn in this? I love Amber Tamblyn (and Sarah Michelle Gellar for that matter), but I didn't bother to go see this one because I thought it would be lame. Is it worth it to pick this up on BD?

Didn't see the second one yet but the croaking sound coupled with scary lady coming down the stairs in the first one freaked me out. Definitely worth a look.

Yeah, Amber was pretty much the star in this one

I find the first "Grudge" film (which was of course a more or less direct remake of the Japanese film "Ju-On") to be immensely inane to say the least.
