PS3 Camera - Blu-ray Forum

I am talking about the camera that came with Eye of Judgment. Is is possible to take the pictures and movies made with this camera and move it to a pc and then burn it to a disc/dvd?

yes. just transfer file to jump drive or external drive and use your fav program such as pinnacle studio 11

yeah you can transfer jpeg or mpg made from your ps3 camera into your pc folder and burn on dvd. but im sure quality will probably be not good as current camera. you would need usb flash memory to do this.

I hooked up my standard USB camera, but couldn't seem to do anything with it. It did look like you could use the free eye-create software to do cool stuff with the PS3 Eye though.

quality is not good. not worth the time to transfer. get a real camcorder or digicam..

I did.

And I know the quality isn't great but I got a couple of awesome videos of my son that I want to save.

I just wanted to find out if transfering and then burning was possible.

There's an option in there to export the video/sound to the XMB. From there you should be able to copy to external storage and do whatever you like with it on your computer.
