I assume these will be separate releases and not a boxed set. Either way, I'm glad "The Story of Adele H" is getting a re-release.

Fantastic! I already have the few that were released by Twilight Time - but I’ll happily double dip, especially if any new restoration work has been done (or if they release a box set.)

Also: Excited to finally get rid of my “Small Change” and “The Wild Child” DVDs.

Hmmm. I'll buy it. Aside from the three Twilight Time releases, I don't own nor have I ever seen the others.

Very cool! If it's individual releases, I'll definitely get The Bride Wore Black, as I missed the TT release. If it's a set, I'll probably end up getting it too

Ah, didn't pay enough attention to the wording of these releases. Assumed it was a box set. Definitely will be picking up everything aside from Mississippi Mermaid, though. I already have the TT edition of that. That is, unless, these end up being remasters!

I own none and am looking forward to these! It would be cool if it was a box set, but it's better to have a film in print rather than OOP.

Might buy if a budget priced boxset but not otherwise. These are not Truffaut's best works.

I once got into a drunken argument with a friend about Truffaut's The Wild Child (1970). He really loves that film and I was trying to convince him they remade it as Walk Like a Man (1987) with Howie Mandel and Christopher Lloyd. Sober me is still convinced I am right.

Will purchase this for The Wild Child, Small Change and The Green Room.

Already have the TT's of The Bride Wore Black, The Story of Adele H. Mississippi Mermaid.

Loath The Man Who Loved Women (and it's English language re-make).

Brilliant and daring, writer/director François Truffaut (The 400 Blows, Mississippi Mermaid) marries passion with vengeance for one of the most haunting love stories ever filmed. The incandescent Jeanne Moreau (Jules and Jim) is Julie, who has just wed her childhood sweetheart. But just moments after the ceremony, her beloved is murdered on the steps of the church. Emotionally distraught, Julie becomes obsessed with her bridegroom’s death and begins a descent into madness as she relentlessly pursues the men responsible. Adapted from Cornell Woolrich (Rear Window) and scored by Bernard Herrmann (Psycho), The Bride Wore Black unveils itself as a Hitchcockian thriller and gradually evolves into the fascinating portrait of a woman ravaged by grief. Featuring sumptuous cinematography by Raoul Coutard (Shoot the Piano Player) and pitch-black performances by Michel Bouquet, Jean-Claude Brialy, Charles Denner, Claude Rich, Daniel Boulanger, Michael Lonsdale and Alexandra Stewart.

Eh, no new scan, and missing the isolated score track and 79-minute audio interview with Bernard Herrmann on a separate CD. Pass.

While that is certainly disappointing, the release might have a better encode. It will also be a nice edition on the shelf next to the other upcoming Truffaut releases from Kino (several new to the format).

If it would have cost Kino extra to license the CD, the lack of that as a bonus feature is understandable. Regardless, it is nice that Kino license rescued this film as it has been out of print now for many years.

I might have to pick up both releases as I am curious about the interview CD (but I'm sure many buyers won't feel as bothered by the composer interview exclusion). Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to pick up the Twilight Time release while it was in print.

Written and directed by legendary filmmaker François Truffaut (The 400 Blows, The Bride Wore Black) and featuring cool-as-ice cinema icons Catherine Deneuve (Belle de Jour) and Jean-Paul Belmondo (Le Doulos), Mississippi Mermaid is nothing less than breathtaking. When Isle de Réunion resident and tobacco tycoon Louis Mahé (Belmondo) first meets Julie Roussel (Deneuve)—his mail-order fiancée—he’s completely enraptured by her radiance. But it soon becomes clear that Julie is hiding a dark secret. And when she disappears without a trace, Louis vows to stop at nothing to find her—a resolution that lures him into a tangled web of relentless obsession, uncontrollable passion and ultimately…cold-blooded murder. Based on a novel by Cornell Woolrich (Rear Window), Mississippi Mermaid (La sirène du Mississipi) is a beguiling mix of mystery and emotional entanglements, with Michel Bouquet (The Cop), Nelly Borgeaud (The Man Who Loved Women) and the lush cinematography of Denys Clerval (Stolen Kisses).
