Default On-line retailer Vann's declares Blu-ray the victor

Some of you might be familiar with on-line electronics retailer, http://www.vanns.com/shop. I just got their new spring catalog in the mail and it didn't mince words about the format war. Here's the exact quote -

"In the past few years, Blu-ray and HD-DVD were neck to neck in the race to be the dominant HD medium on the market. Movie manufacturers chose sides, so that if you wanted to own both Spiderman and Shrek 3, you had to be able to play both HD-DVD and Blu-ray. Some people had two players, others bought combo players. But now the outcome of all the competition has finally been determined, and Blu-ray has come out on top. That means that all your favorite movie companies will produce Blu-ray disks. No more confusion, and you just need one terrific player to get amazing HD video and audio. Thanks to that blue laser beam technology, your movie-watching experience will be more interactive, more rich, and more lifelike than ever before. No- we take that back. With the right components in your entertainment system you can actually have a media experience that is more vivid and more astonishing and larger than life. Thanks, Blu-ray."

This was prominently featured in a two page spread on Blu-ray players under the heading "Blu planet". Aside from the minor mistake that the two formats were ever "neck to neck" it was nice to see a retailer unequivocally push Blu-ray. Also interesting was that for a 50 page catalog, not one page was devoted to dvd players.
