Default Samsung BRD Will Not Load Disney BRD Movies, Why?

When I load any of the Disney BRD, it comes up with an error saying “Can’t Play This Disk Due To Parental Lock Level.”

I do not have the parental lock on. As a matter of fact, I can play all of my other BRD including Terminator and Lord of War which are “R” rated. It doesn’t make any sense.

I have looked through all of the setting and I can’t find anything that might be causing this.

Does anyone have any Ideas?

Thanks for the help,

Steve

I heard about people having an issue with the parental lock for Silent Hill as well. I believe you have to change the parental lock setting to R to get all of your movies to play without this annoyance again.

I can confirm this.

You have to turn parental lock on and set it to adult (8).

I did not turn password on but that does not seem to matter.

Simply activate the parental controls, then deactivate them and you should be okay.

My Blu ray does the same thing sometimes to all blu ray dvds mostly new ones that I just bought. If I pop in an older BD then put the nw on in it works but if I don't it freezes up of says can't read disc. Any suggestions.

nyg, can you change the title of this thread to "Samsung needs special settings to load Disney BDs" or something like that.

This "will not load" reminds me of the AVSForum style threads
